What the studio receives, when the optional Meta Pixel can load, and how you can change your privacy choice.

The short version

Meta Pixel stays off unless you choose Allow. If you allow it, page visits and device information are sent to Meta so the studio can measure its advertising, and Meta may set advertising cookies. If you decline, the site still works in full. The studio also receives the information you submit yourself — your email if you join the list, and the details needed to deliver a painting if you buy one.

Before you choose

The Meta script makes no request and sends no page visit before you choose Allow. Your choice is saved in this browser so the site can remember it on your next visit. Saving that choice is necessary to respect it; it is not used to follow you around the web.

If you join the studio list

Your email address, and nothing else — no name, no birthday, no questionnaire. It is stored with Stripe, the same company that handles the payments, so that joining the list adds no new company to this page. It is used to tell you when a painting is finished. Every email has a way out, and leaving takes one reply.

Which advert brought you

If you arrive from an advert, the link carries a campaign name in it. When you join the list or buy, that campaign name is stored alongside your record so the studio knows which advert paid for itself. It is read from the page you were on at that moment. If you also choose Allow, Meta Pixel measures page visits and helps the studio understand which Meta adverts work.

If you buy

Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, because a stretched canvas cannot be delivered without them. The phone number is for the freight carrier, who calls before a large delivery.

Your card

Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and never touch this site or the studio's systems. The studio can see that a payment succeeded, the last four digits and the card brand — the same as on a paper receipt — and nothing more.

Meta Pixel

With your permission, this site loads Meta Pixel ID 2264313047666038 and sends a PageView when you enter or move to another page. Meta can receive the page URL and referrer together with browser, device and network information, and may use cookies such as _fbp or _fbc. The studio uses the resulting reports to measure advertising and may use them to reach relevant audiences; it does not receive your individual Facebook or Instagram identity from the Pixel.

Your privacy choice

You can decline without losing any feature of the site. Use Privacy choices in the footer at any time to change your decision. Withdrawing permission stops future events and the site removes the _fbp and _fbc cookies it can access. Clearing this browser's site data also clears the saved choice, so the site will ask again.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments and holds order and studio-list records. Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs. The shipping carrier receives the address and phone number needed to deliver. Meta receives Pixel data only if you choose Allow. The studio does not sell or rent the personal information it holds.

How long it is kept

Order records are kept as long as United States tax and business record-keeping law requires, and then no longer. Your privacy choice stays in this browser until you change it or clear the site's data. Meta keeps information under its own privacy policy and account settings.

Asking for your data, or its deletion

Write to the studio and ask. You will get a copy of everything held about you, or its deletion, within 30 days — with the single exception of records the studio is legally required to keep for tax purposes, which will be named to you specifically rather than hidden behind this sentence. Requests concerning information held by Meta must be made through Meta's privacy controls.

Email

If you write to the studio, the studio keeps the email, the way anyone keeps their correspondence. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no automated marketing — writing about a painting will not sign you up for anything.

Children

This site is not directed at children and the studio does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this changes

If the studio adds another analytics service, a newsletter or anything else that collects more than the above, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
