Delivery & returns
- Before it ships
- Each painting is signed, sealed and documented by hand before it leaves. That takes 5 business days — the certificate of authenticity is issued for your piece specifically, not printed in advance.
- How it travels
- Crated flat, corner-protected and fully insured for the value of the work. Delivery is 7–14 business days after it leaves, and shipping is included in the price of the piece — there is no separate charge at checkout.
- Outside the United States
- The studio ships within the United States for now. A stretched canvas travels as a large, light box, and international freight on that shape costs more than it should. If you are abroad and want a piece, write to the studio: it can be arranged, quoted honestly, and the cost said out loud before anything is charged.
- If it arrives damaged
- Photograph the crate and the canvas before unpacking further and write to the studio within 14 days. The work is insured, and the studio handles the claim — not you.
- Returns
- A one-of-one painting is not a returnable product, so there is no change-of-mind return. If the piece that arrives is not the piece that was sold, or it arrives damaged, it is resolved in the collector's favour, always.
- Seeing it first
- If you are in Austin, Texas and want to stand in front of the work before deciding, write to the studio. That is usually the right way to buy a painting.
